Meeting Minutes – December 2017

Minutes of the Meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday, 14th December 2017 at  8 p.m. in Ruckinge Village Hall.
Present: Cllr. S. Denis in the Chair, Cllrs.  P. Sillibourne, D. Guy, A. Beaney. T. Cliffe-Harrison and F. Burt.
Apologies: The Clerk, Mrs M. Shaw.
Declarations: Cllr. A. Beaney on Fairview Industrial Estate.
Minutes: The minutes of the November meeting have been held-over for distribution and approval at the next meeting in February.
Matters Arising: Sewage problems, Bromley Green Road: Borough Councillor Martin provided an explanation from Southern Water on the recent problems with the pumping station. Further remedial work is being planned – a full update will be given to the next meeting.

Meeting Minutes – July 2017

Meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday,  Thursday, 15th July 2017 at  8 p.m. in Ruckinge Village Hall.
Present: Cllr. S. Denis in the Chair, Cllrs. P. Sillibourne, A. Beaney, D. Guy, Mrs. F. Burt, Mrs. T. Cliffe-Harrison, Mrs. M. Hills and the Clerk, Mrs. M. Shaw.
In attendance: Kevin and Gary from the Football Club.
Declarations: There were none.
Minutes: The minutes of the previous meeting had been circulated, these were resolved as a correct record.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 8.05 p.m. to allow the two gentleman to explain their proposals and to answer questions for the use of the football pitch at Carters Field.

They then left the meeting.

The meeting reconvened at 8.25 p.m.

The Councillors then discussed this in depth and they were in favour of their proposal to use Carters Field for the football activities which they had outlined to the meeting. The Council considered that an initial period of 12 months would be appropriate to allow both parties to assess the durability of the playing surface, and the impact on the community.

Any agreement between the Parish Council and the football club will be subject to  a  written agreement and compliant with the National Playing Fields, FIT Deed of Trust.

Matters Arising: Sewage problems, Bromley Green Road –  nothing further.   It appears alright at the present time.

Meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday,  Thursday, 11th May 2017 at  8 p.m. in Ruckinge Village Hall.
Present: Cllr. S. Denis in the Chair,  Cllrs.  D. Guy,  P. Sillibourne,  A. Beaney, Mrs. T. Cliffe-Harrison and the Clerk, Mrs.  M. Shaw.
Apologies: Cllrs. Mrs. F. Burt and Mrs. M. Hills .
Election of Chairman: Cllr.  S. Denis was proposed by Cllr.  Mrs. T. Cliffe-Harrison, seconded by Cllr. A.Beaney there being no  other nominations Cllr. Denis duly elected, signed his “Declaration of Acceptance of  Office”.
Election of Vice-Chairman: Cllr. D. Guy was proposed as Vice-Chairman by Cllr. Mrs. T. Cliffe-Harrison, seconded by Cllr. A. Beaney and unanimously agreed.
Parish Forum Representative/s: To be agreed when notification received.
K.A.P.C: It was proposed by Cllr. D. Guy to continue membership, seconded by Cllr. Mrs. T. Cliffe-Harrison and agreed. Representatives to be agreed upon meeting notifications.
Declarations: There were none.
