There are two sites just outside Ruckinge boundary, which have been resubmitted into the draft plan by the landowners and developers. The Chairman had attended a meeting the previous evening with the Bromley Green Residents Association and reported thereon.
A report written by Shadoxhurst Parish Council was circulated to members. Concern was expressed that residents are unable to locate the process of raising objections. Cllr. J. Martin to be consulted and this response will be included on the parish web-site.
Treasurers Account as at 30th October 2017 £ 18,929 – 03.
The Clerk circulated a draft budget to the councillors, this was discussed with further detailed discussion at the next meeting. It was provisionally proposed by Cllr. D. Guy seconded by Cllr. A. Beaney and that the precept for 2018/2019 be £ 10,000 to be confirmed.
The Clerk had received an invoice for £ 1,200 – 00 from Peter Brett Associates LLP. This was discussed – no details were given to substantiate this invoice and it is believed that this is could have been incurred by Borough Councillor Miss J. Martin. No Agreement has been made between Ruckinge Parish Council and this company, which would have required a formally approved Resolution and also any Agreement would have then required the signature of the Responsible Financial Officer. Therefore the Parish Council has no liability for this debt. It was agreed that the Chairman will compose a letter to Cllr. Miss J. Martin for forwarding to her by the Clerk after Councillors approval.
